Membership of VMARS offers exceptional value for money and includes the monthly News Sheet (10 to 12 pages) and the quarterly bound A4 colour format SIGNAL technical journal which extends up to 65 pages. Membership of VMARS is open to anyone interested in any of the aims of the Society and whose application is approved by the existing membership.There are three classes of membership:-(a) Full members, being over the age of 18 or holding an amateur radio transmitting licence granted by any competent authority.(b) Student members who must be under the age of 25 and in full time formal education. The annual subscription for student members is one half of the normal subscription.(c) Family Membership offers one full membership at the rates shown on the application form plus family members charged at an extra £5 for each additional member. Family members below the age of 18 may also join at the same rate but must always be accompanied by the full member who will be deemed to be responsible for them when attending Society events. Family members below the age of 18 will not be entitled to vote at an AGM or EGM.  Only one copy of our publications will be sent to the address of the full member.If you wish to join the society, please download the membership application form (in Adobe Acrobat format), then post it when completed to the address on the form.
